Grower Photo Album
Our first big crop in the spring is plants! We open our greenhouse in May for bedding out plants, veggie transplants, and beautiful baskets, etc. The Market Store at the Farm opens then, too, filled with Ontario and local goods.
We host the annual Slow Food Pig Roast Fundraiser, and if the weather is good it’s fun to eat outside immersed in the farm.
We pick corn almost every morning once the season gets going in August, so it’s always as fresh and sweet as possible!
Every year, Jodi’s father, Jack, designs and cuts out a new maze in our corn field. We have a large tower now as well, to help you find your way back out!
We have done Haunted Hay Rides and Mazes in the fall.
Drying our garlic. Warning: local garlic is potent – only use 1/3 to 1/2 the normal amount!
We hosted a Round Table for the Couchiching Group last summer that included Elizabeth May of the Green Party.
Our daughter made this sign to give credit to local producers who contributed to the meal.
